The Henry Roth Literary Trust manages the literary estate of Henry Roth (1906-1995), author of Call it Sleep, Shifting Landscape (with Mario Materassi), Mercy of a Rude Stream, and An American Type.
Primary collections, open for academic study, are housed in the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at Boston University and Center for Jewish History (American Jewish Historical Society). The Center for Jewish History also houses an extensive collection of materials donated by Roth’s editors, agent, and others.
